The Indian Policy Early Learning (IPEL) Committee was created in 2013 based on recommendations from Tribal leaders. Its goal is to make sure DCYF programs and policies meet the needs of pregnant people and children.
Each federally recognized Tribe in Washington state can choose who to send to represent their Tribal Nation.
Meetings
IPEL meets every two months from 1 to 4 p.m. The Tribal Caucus meets from 12 to 1 p.m.
