DCYF produces numerous reports throughout the year to meet state and federal requirements, detail recent research or analysis, and to highlight progress on program initiatives. Along with our Agency Performance Measures, these reports provide an invaluable insight into DCYF program outcomes.

Report Types

Legislative Reports

These are reports mandated by the Washington State legislature, and are submitted by the agency to the Governor’s office and the relevant committees of the legislature. Authorizing information for each will be found in the body of the report.

Federal Reports

These are reports mandated by various federal agencies which fund or oversee parts of our work at DCYF. Federal reports are submitted to the requesting federal agency.

OIAA Research and Analysis

The Office of Innovation, Alignment, and Accountability produces reports of new research and analysis conducted on DCYF programs, contracted services, clients, and the systems we support. These reports are not always mandated by legislative or federal requirements, but are intended to provide transparency on our agency and to help policy makers have the data and analysis needed to make critical decisions.

DCYF programs periodically produce reports on their outcomes and progress towards meeting agency strategic outcome goals. These reports are not mandated by legislative or federal requirements, but are intended to provide transparency on our programs and agency.

Pre-Expenditure Report for FFY 2025 Social Services Block Grant

DCYF will submit its Pre-Expenditure Report for FFY 2025 Social Services Block Grant funds to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services by August 30, 2024. Comments from other governmental agencies and from the public are welcomed.
