Virtual Discussion: Building Family Partnerships

October 5, 2023

Kids and families thrive when parents and caregivers build supportive relationships.

Join us for Brave Conversations on Oct. 3, from 6-7:15 p.m. Register today.

Brave Conversations are welcoming virtual spaces for conversations about building supportive relationships between parents and caregivers (both foster parents and relative/kinship caregivers) of children placed in out-of-home care. Created by the Building Family Partnerships project with parents and caregivers in Washington.

The Building Family Partnerships project was created with parents and caregivers in Washington State, the Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF), Casey Family Programs, the Children’s Trust Fund Alliance, and the Youth Law Center/Quality Parenting Initiative. Our goal is to help parents and caregivers bridge the gap that often exists when children are in foster or kinship care. Learn more: amarafamily.org/building-family-partnerships/
