Teen Health Hub Updates: Additional Resources and Spanish Translations

The Department of Health's (DOH) Teen Health Hub has been updated with new resources including several that were cocreated with the Youth Advisory Council (YAC).

The site is also now available in Spanish.

Highlights include:

How to videos that cover basic health care navigation like how to schedule a doctor's appointment.
An FAQ about Emergency Contraception focused on questions young people have.
Minor consent and confidentiality:
- For teens and young adults: A fact sheet about teen privacy and health care.
- For youth-serving health care providers and professionals: A Sparks Training from the Adolescent Health Initiative to help increase knowledge and understanding about WA minor consent laws and their application.
