Foster youth who are celebrating a birthday are eligible for a free cake from Grace & Cakes, a Spokane non-profit.
To receive their free cake, the youth’s caregiver must visit graceandcakes.com and fill out a form. If selected, they will receive an email with additional information. Each month, the non-profit donates as many cakes as possible based on the number of professional bakers available. Currently, request outnumbers capacity so applicants are picked at random.
“As our nonprofit continues to grow we look forward to monthly serving even more children,” said Lisa Repp, executive director and co-founder of Grace & Cakes.
Grace & Cakes currently serves anyone willing to pick up their birthday cakes from partner bakeries in Spokane.
