Young people in DCYF’s residential Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) facilities now have an opportunity to earn industry-recognized certificates through a new health and wellness training program, Beauty From Ashes.

Earlier this year, Gov. Jay Inslee signed Proclamation 21-02: Extended Eligibility for Foster Care Services in response to the Federal requirement that states must not exit young people from care beginning in March 2020.

DCYF’s Office of Innovation, Alignment, and Accountability (OIAA) is developing a suite of early learning dashboards. These dashboards provide regular, up-to-date data on child care and early learning needs in local communities and address statutory requirements for regular data reporting.
