It’s September, which means it’s time for thousands of Washington’s kids to head back to school, and we can play a role in ensuring they attend regularly.

Seven high-achieving residents of Green Hill School have been invited to join Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society. For more than 100 years, Phi Theta Kappa has helped millions of dedicated college students reach their full potential. Since 1918, 3.5 million students have joined 1,300 chapters worldwide.

In June 2021, Echo Glen Children’s Center launched an Edible Schoolyard Project for youth and young adults in residence.

Real-world world skills. Real-world experience. Real-world success. DCYF is partnering with Career Connect Washington to create meaningful and rewarding employment pathways for the young people in the agency’s care. Many jobs today require training or education beyond high school.
