The Department of Children, Youth & Families (DCYF) oversees the Early ECEAP (Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program) Pilot project funded under the federal Preschool Development Grant Birth through Five (PDG B-5).
January is National Mentoring Month – a time to recognize and celebrate the incredible impact mentoring relationships have on the lives of youth. DCYF staffer Jessica Hatch has firsthand experience with the lasting change that mentoring can have.

Due to a weather-related power outage, the DCYF office in Forks, located at 421 5th Ave., is closed. It is not clear when the office will reopen.
