Child Welfare Agency Performance
This dashboard shows the Child Welfare outcome goals identified as part of DCFY Agency Strategic Priorities. The dashboard displays the yearly measures and regional variation of the following information:
- CPS response rates
- Screen in decisions
- Youth entering and experiencing out-of-home care
- How long a young person is in out-of-home care
- How many kinship providers are licensed
- When a youth re-enters out-of-home care
Racial Disproportionality and Disparity in Child Welfare
This dashboard shows regional variation of racial and ethnic disparity and disproportionality at key points of the child welfare system:
- Intakes
- Screened-in child welfare intakes
- Removals
- Placement within one year of intake
- Out-of-home care lasting two or more years
Child Welfare Safe Reduction Dashboard
This dashboard shows trends in child placements and referrals back to Child Protective Services (CPS). Users can compare data across DCYF regions and racial and ethnic groups. The dashboard also includes filters to explore data for different groups of children.
Child Welfare Quality Assurance Supplemental Dashboard
DCYF reports measures of child welfare quality, as defined in legislation, to supplement the agency’s performance measures. This includes measures of:
- Timely CPS response
- Monthly worker visits
- Placement stability
- Permanency
- Recurrence
- Maltreatment in care
- Kinship care placement
- Foster home monitoring
