DCYF’s Adolescent Programs division oversees implementation of the Foster Youth to Independence (FYI) initiative for Washington State, coordinating with each local Public Housing Authority.

Washington State’s Early Childhood Education and Assistance Program (ECEAP) is expanding the number of slots available to children, ages 3 to 4 years old for the 2022-23 school year.

The Fair Start for Kids Act (FSKA) funded the expansion of Infant and Early Childhood Mental Health Consultation (IECMHC) services offered to Early Achievers participants through Child Care Aware of Washington (CCA of WA).  The

DCYF’s ECLIPSE (Early Childhood Intervention and Prevention Services) offers developmentally appropriate therapeutic programming for families and children who have endured biological, familial, and environmental risk factors consistent with exposure to complex trauma in early childhood.
