Information
Harbor Heights opened in July 2025. Harbor Heights is located near Grays Harbor. The facility can house up to 46 young men. It is completely run by DCYF. Young people at the facility remain in DCYF custody.
The goal of Harbor Heights is to provide a safe, structured, and secure space for young men who want to learn about leadership. Young men at Green Hill School can apply to the Ascend program at Harbor Heights.
About the Ascend Program
This program offers cognitive behavioral treatment (CBT) to help young men create good habits. Young men participate in groups that teach them the skills to led. Additional programming is focused on independent living skills and other special programming. Young men participate in the Ascend program for a minimum of six months.

Population
DCYF will select young men over the age of 18 to participate in the Ascend Program at Harbor Heights.
Education and Vocational Programs
Post-secondary educational programming will be offered so young people can continue their education while participating in the rotational program.
Visitation
Visitation is available Saturdays and Sundays. Harbor Heights has morning and afternoon times for families to visit. Visitors must arrive 30 minutes early. Young men at Harbor Heights can video call and message family through Ameelio.
Hours
Morning - 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
Afternoon - 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
