Education Requirement in WAC
Outdoor nature-based (ONB) child care professionals must meet the education requirements for their role, listed in WAC 110-302-0100. Requirements are different depending on the type of child care setting. Early Childhood Education Stackable Certificates
If your job role requires specific education, consider the Early Childhood Education (ECE) Washington State Stackable Certificates. These certificates build on each other and can lead to an associate degree in ECE and other advanced education. They are offered across Washington state in both online and in-person formats.
