Have you heard about DCYF’s Adolescent Programs division? It’s the agency’s first effort to align client-serving programs into one integrated team. Adolescent Programs focuses on the developmental stage of adolescents and creates programs and strategies to help DCYF provide services more efficiently.
In January, Adolescent Programs happily welcomed several existing DCYF staff onto its team. They manage programs and services that improve successful adulthood transition. Key areas of focus for Adolescent Programs include:
- K-12, post-secondary education and employment
- Housing
- Youth engagement
- Successful transitions to adulthood
- Equity, diversity and inclusion
