When Forks resident Kailey Sallee, 5, learned that some children who come into care sometimes can’t bring their belongings, she felt she needed to do something.
She spoke with her mom and created a list of things she thought kids would need or like.
Kailey and her mom went on a shopping trip and put together six backpacks filled with coloring books, crayons, water bottles, brushes and more.
