Echo Glen recently participated in a pilot project aimed at developing cultural adaptations to improve access to evidence-based trauma interventions for youth of color and to reduce racial and ethnic disparities in their treatment. The pilot is called the Cognitive Behavioral Interventions for Trauma in Schools (CBITS) with Cultural Adaptations (CBITS-CA).
This pilot was implemented in collaboration with the University of Washington (UW) and Community Passageways. UW created this video to summarize and showcase the work accomplished at Echo Glen. You can also find the full evaluation of the CBITS-CA pilot on the DCYF website.
Thank you to the research team, DCYF staff, community partners and residents of Echo Glen for supporting this pilot!
