2024-25 Early Achievers Needs-Based Grant Accepting Applications

The 2024-25 Early Achievers Needs-Based Grant opened for applications on July 2, 2024. DCYF offers Needs-Based Grants to eligible licensed child care providers participating in Early Achievers. 

Early Achievers participants may be eligible for a $1,000 Needs-Based Grant if they meet at least one of the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in the Tier 1 USDA food program; and/or
  • Located within a school district that serves at least 20% low-income children based on Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction (OSPI) data.

Needs-Based Grants are awarded to eligible applicants with complete applications and a valid Statewide Vendor (SWV) Payee number on a first-come, first-served basis. The application period will close when funds are no longer available.
