Helping families, providing high-quality programs, and empowering the community.
Home visiting programs are for parents and families with babies and young children and those who are expecting. They focus on the family and help support your child’s physical, social, and emotional health.
When families get support at home, children are better prepared for school. There is less risk of abuse or neglect, and bonds between parents and children grow stronger.
Families can join before a child is born or during the first few years of life. They are matched with trained professionals called home visitors. These visitors:
- Share helpful information about healthy child development
- Support strong parent-child relationships
- Explain why early learning matters
- Connect families to other services and resources in the community
