DCYF’S Strengthening Families team will host an Unsung Heroes Awards Ceremony to honor this year’s nominees on Monday, February 25 from 4 to 7 p.m.

Olympia - Yesterday, Judge Charles R. Snyder, Whatcom County Superior Court, approved a joint motion filed by the State and the plaintiff's counsel in the Braam v. State of Washington lawsuit revising the outcomes regarding youth who run away from foster care.

Olympia — The Department of Children, Youth, and Families (DCYF) was recently awarded a federal Preschool Development Birth Through Five Grant (PDG B-5) from the Department of Health and Human Services. DCYF was awarded $5,270,656 through December 31, 2019.
