This training is delivered in one 5-hour session.

• Learn strategies to support families experiencing violence.
• Learn principles and methods in domestic violence family safety planning.

It can be hard to figure out what will increase the safety of a parent and child who are in a relationship with an abusive partner, especially when ending the relationship is not an option. This five-hour training will give ESIT service providers concrete strategies for supporting domestic violence survivors and families. Attendees will take part in an interactive digitized activity, In Her Shoes: Living with Domestic Violence, and walk alongside a survivor’s story.
