Policy
- The juvenile court makes a determination regarding the future status of the child or youth by the 12th month of placement for all. To provide reasonable assurance that this has occurred, permanency planning hearings are held for any child or youth in placement by the 12th month of original placement date and annually thereafter. See Appendix A for the definition of “Original Placement Date.”
- The caseworker must notify the child's or youth’s of the date and location of permanency planning hearing.
