Shea Hopfauf

Shea Hopfauf began her child welfare career working in residential settings in the late 1990’s. She began working for the state as an intermittent worker with Central Intake in 2005. 

After applying for and being accepted into the CWTAP program with Eastern Washington University, Shea became a Child Protective Services (CPS) investigator in Skagit County, eventually working in King and Snohomish Counties. She supervised CPS in King County before taking on the role of Quality Practice Specialist in Snohomish and then King County. Shea was an Area Administrator for more than six years in King County before becoming the Interim Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 4.

Shea holds a Bachor of Science in Human Services from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Social Work from Eastern Washington University.
