Robert started with the State in 1995 and joined the Children’s Administration in 1997 as a CPS worker. Robert realized his desire to help families through social work when attending Gonzaga University and working as a work study at the Spokane Children’s Administration office.
Over the course of 30 years, he’s held the positions of Regional Home Finder, CFWS Supervisor, Critical Incident Specialist, Area Administrator, and QA/CQI Administrator. In March 2017, Robert began his role as the Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 1.
Robert continues his work in this field due to the life changing impact DCYF has on families. Robert holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology with a minor in Sociology from Gonzaga University and a master’s in social work from Eastern Washington University. Outside of work, Robert’s interests include outdoor activities with his favorite being bass fishing.
