Patty Turner has over 35 years’ experience working within DCYF. She began her career as a Social Worker 1, became a case carrying social worker, Supervisor, Regional Safety /Implementation Program Manager, and an Area Administrator. She now proudly serves as the Region 3 Deputy Regional Administrator.
Patty has a strong commitment to the safety and permanency of the children, youth, and families we work with. She is passionate about ensuring that staff are prepared and supported to do this important work. Patty has a bachelor’s in human services from Western Washington University and her master’s in social work from Eastern Washington University through the Child Welfare Training and Advancement Program (CWTAP) program. Outside of work she loves spending time with family and friends, cooking, traveling, gardening, and being outdoors.
