Mandy Huber
Deputy Regional Administrator for Region 6

Mandy Huber has over 20 years’ experience in child welfare and children’s mental health. Mandy has a Bachelor of Arts in Social Work and graduated from Concordia University in Portland, Oregon.

Passionate about children’s mental health, she worked in community mental health as a children’s clinician, before beginning a career in child welfare in 2003.  Mandy has worked across multiple programs including CPS, FVS, CFWS, and Family Recovery Court, and supervising CFWS and FRC.  She worked in three offices and two regions before taking an opportunity to return to mental health as a Children’s Behavioral Health Administrator for the Division of Behavioral Health and Recovery within Health Care Authority.

Mandy returned to child welfare as an Area Administrator for DCYF, overseeing various regional programs until taking on this new roll.  Mandy’s heart has always been in child welfare and focused on providing the best care to some of the most vulnerable populations when they are experiencing some of the worst circumstances in their lives.

On a personal note, Mandy has been married for 19 years and has a 12-year-old son. They have an energetic Boston Terrier, and enjoy spending time with their horses, riding, and going to the beach.
