With over 15 years of experience in county and state service, Ly brings a wealth of experience spanning various roles within the field. From juvenile detention and probation to direct services across multiple programs with DCYF, Ly’s journey has equipped him with a comprehensive understanding of the intricacies involved in safeguarding the well-being of children and families. As a seasoned policy and practice expert, Ly has navigated complex legislative landscapes, advocating for systemic changes aimed at enhancing the lives of vulnerable populations.
Ly’s approach to leadership is characterized by innovation, creativity, and collaboration, as he constantly strives to implement progressive solutions to age-old challenges within the realm of child welfare. With a steadfast commitment to making a positive impact, Ly is driven to continue advancing the field and championing the rights of children everywhere. Ly has his Master of Social Work (MSW) and is currently working on his Certificate in Leading Public Innovation (Evan’s School of Public Policy & Governance) both through the University of Washington.
