Jennifer began her state service career with the Washington State Department of Corrections as a Senior Contracts Attorney. In addition to her contract’s workload, Jennifer served as Rules Coordinator and was a strategic partner in operational improvement projects and committees.
Before joining public service, Jennifer owned, operated, and supported multiple law firms and businesses. Additionally, she has served as a teacher, mentor, and organizer of students and professionals ranging from K-12 to attorneys.
In her spare time, Jennifer enjoys exploring the beautiful PNW with her spouse, Travis, a Middle-School Art Teacher. She also enjoys travel, being a “foodie,” home renovation, and wrangling her four rescue dogs.
Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s in Political Science from UT Dallas, Juris Doctorate from Texas Wesleyan/A&M Law School and is pursuing a Legal Masters in Risk Management and Compliance at Seattle University Law School.
