Christina Code began her career over 29 years ago with the criminal justice system working in Juvenile and Adult corrections. She moved into child welfare in 2006, where she worked across a span of three states: Ohio, Virginia, and Washington State. Christina then took a different turn in her career path working with mental health services to include advocacy work with the United States Army at Fort Eustis, therapeutic and crisis services as an in-home therapist, medical social work for hospice, and psych crisis services with the largest health care provider in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
Christina’s passion for social justice and being an agent of change has always been her driving force and guide when working with children, families, and communities. Christina continues to work towards building successful, innovative, cohesive, and progressive teams. Christina holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice with a minor in psychology, a master’s in criminal justice from the University of Cincinnati, and a master’s in social work from the University of Washington.
