Ted has served Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) for over 20 years. He started at Naselle Youth Camp as a contracted Clinical Consultant and provided statewide clinical training and program development services for over a decade before moving into his current role. Ted began his professional relationship with JR as a community member of the agency’s Advisory Council in 2000 in a position designated for an individual with lived experience in the JR system. Ted supports JR facilities, regions, systems, and community partners in providing behavioral health services and related supports that contribute to healing and success for the young people in our care. Ted led the implementation of a Leadership Academy in 2002 that has offered professional development, skill building, and networking opportunities to ten staff cohorts over the last decade-plus.
Ted and his wife of thirty-three years have three adult children in their late twenties and early thirties. His whole family is avid theater nerds, especially children’s theater. In addition to acting in, directing, and creating performances for young audiences, Ted enjoys creating and playing music and ashtanga yoga.
