Medical Director
Dr. Ahrens is the Medical Director for the Washington State Department of Children, Youth, and Families Juvenile Rehabilitation System (DCYF JR) and provides care for youth housed at Echo Glen Children’s Center. Her research interest includes systems-involved youth and gender-diverse youth. She is also the current Associate Fellowship Director in Adolescent Medicine at Seattle Children’s Hospital.
She loves photography and learning to do anything crafty or artistic in her free time.
