Josh started his career in 1999 at a contracted Community Facility, then held progressively more responsible positions in the Juvenile Rehabilitation (JR) region 1 parole office while learning JR policy and the JR treatment models. In 2008, Josh moved to Children's Administration, where he managed regional programs and staff until early 2023, in support of youth and families with complex needs. There he deepened and strengthened his ability to build, establish and deepen relationships with community partners and Tribes and has carried these strengths and more into his new role back with JR as the Field Operations Administrator since 2023. Josh is known not only for his BBQ, supporting his daughter's softball, love of the open skies in Montana, but also his deep compassion and desire to serve the young people and their families, our communities, and the diverse and dynamic Region 1 team.
