February 26 & 27, 2025 | 10:00 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Description
We highly encourage you to take this training prior to registering for Safety Planning with Families. Search the catalog for available dates.
This training will be delivered in two 1.5-hour sessions.
- Building a shared understanding of domestic violence.
- Building skills in assessment, identification, and engagement with families around domestic violence issues.
It can be tough to get a conversation started or to know what to say when someone shares their experience of abuse. This two-part training by the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence (WSCADV) will give ESIT service providers practical tools to help families, including information about the role and services provided by community-based domestic violence advocacy programs.
