Stephanie commenced employment with the Department of Social and Health Services in 1980. She has been in a leadership positions for 27 years.
Stephanie began her career with Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration at Echo Glen. From 1980 through 1999 Stephanie worked between Juvenile Rehabilitation Administration (JRA) and Children’s Administration. She held positions as a Social Worker, Supervisor for Children’s Administration, Sex Offender Treatment Coordinator, Parole Supervisor, and Temporary Assistant Regional Administrator for JRA.
Since 2003, Stephanie has been an Area Administrator for Children’s Administration in the Centralized Service Office and the King East Office.
As a leader Stephanie is committed to serving children, youth and families as well as enhancing service integration for the families in King County. She has worked closely with community partners to enhance communication and build partnerships to enable the integration of services. She embraces inclusion, diversity, and innovation in her workforce as well as encouraging employee voice.
Stephanie earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Social Work from the University of Washington in 1978.
