This training focuses on deepening understanding of maternal mental and emotional health during pregnancy to create a healthier lifelong mother-child relationship. A mother's mental well-being in pregnancy directly shapes her relationship with her infant and this relationship significantly affects the child's quality of life long-term. Supporting maternal mental health increases the likelihood of a healthier bond. Topics covered will include:

    • High-risk pregnancies
    • Unresolved grief or loss
    • Typical pregnancy experiences
    • Domestic violence
    • Depression and mental health concerns
