Maintaining Your Child Care License

Did you know? Child care providers can now submit Annual Compliance forms online through the WA Compass Provider Portal!

Follow these 3 steps every year to maintain your child care license:

Note: All of these must be done 30 days before your license anniversary date.

1. Complete all required background checks.
2. Submit your annual compliance forms online through the Provider Portal.
3. Pay your annual licensing fee.

Forms will be available in the Provider Portal 90 days before your anniversary date. You will continue to receive a separate invoice by mail for your licensing fees.
