Jen has nearly 20 years of experience helping Washington state agencies improve how they work and get results. She focuses on helping organizations grow, manage change, and make improvements.  

Before joining DCYF, Jen spent nearly 8 years as a consultant supporting Washington state agencies as a practice director. She led a large team that helped agencies deal with change and make meaningful improvements. 

Throughout her career, Jen has worked closely with leaders to connect goals, staff, and daily work. She has worked at:

• the Department of Social and Health Services
• the Department of Corrections
• the Health Care Authority

Jen has a master’s degree in Leadership and Management from Western Governors University. 

As Chief Transformation Office, Jen leads:

• the Office of Innovation, Alignment, and Accountability (OIAA)
• the Office of Racial Equity and Social Justice (ORESJ)
• the Office of Strategic Initiatives and Collaboration (OSIC)
