Annie joined the DCYF team in August 2018 as the agency’s Organizational Change Management Director. In a short time, she established a functional organizational change management office providing a human-centered approach to transformational change. Annie will now assist the agency with the creation of DCYF’s Organization Development Office. Prior to joining DCYF, Annie worked with the Department of Corrections as a Senior Project Management Specialist, Lean Program Administrator, and a Lean Project coordinator, all of which supported high-level, cross-division coordination of major projects and initiatives.
Her primary goal is to build internal capacity through the development of employees and leaders in areas of project management, facilitation, and organizational change management.
Her state career began with the Washington State Lottery as a Corporate Account Manager. Before joining public service in Washington, Annie worked in private sector banking, sales, and marketing.
In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, kayaking and cycling with her partner. She also enjoys spending time with family and friends, jamming with her band, eating amazing food, knitting and reading. She is a life-long learner with a passion for bringing people together.
Annie holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from Western Governor’s University. She is currently pursuing a Masters of Science in Organizational Development at Pepperdine’s Graziadio School of Business, known for developing world-class Organization Development practitioners. She is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt and a Prosci® certified Train-the-Trainer.
